CSDCAS Required Documents in the 'Program Materials' Section:

Resume/CV: Detail your education, work, volunteer experience, awards, honors, and extracurricular activities.

Video Essay Link: Submit a brief video essay (3 minutes or less) to help us get to know you beyond your written materials. This is the only essay that will be requested. The specific prompts and requirements are provided within the application.

• Record and upload your video to YouTube as an unlisted video.
• Upload a Word or PDF document containing the URL to your unlisted YouTube video.

Transcripts for CSDCAS Application

You must send all college/university transcripts to both and the 网曝吃瓜 Graduate School. Do not send transcripts to the SLP department.

• If your initial transcripts do not include final grades from your most recent term (fall/winter), you must submit updated transcripts via the CSDCAS '' process by February 1st. 

CSDCAS Supporting Information and References:

Letters of Recommendation: You must submit three letters, with at least two from college/university level instructors (clinical or academic faculty).

• These must be submitted electronically through the portal by your recommenders. Do not send them directly to 网曝吃瓜. Please ask your references to focus on your academic, interpersonal, and other skills relevant to your ability to succeed in graduate school.
• Contact your references beforehand to confirm their preferred email address and their willingness to submit the evaluation electronically by the deadline.

Experiences/Achievements: Complete the 'Supporting Information' section detailing employment, internships, awards, and conferences attended. 

CSDCAS Program Choice

You will need to indicate whether you are applying to the campus or online program.

• Campus: Indicate first choice as Pocatello or Meridian. Indicate second choice as Pocatello, Meridian, or Online. 

• Online: If you are willing to consider the campus program as a second choice, please indicate Pocatello or Meridian.

Note: GRE scores are not required nor accepted as part of our admissions process.

Funding Opportunities 

There is a range of funding opportunities available at 网曝吃瓜.

• Graduate Teaching Assistantships (GTA) are limited in number and include tuition support and a stipend. Most GTA positions in the Speech-Language Pathology Program are 10-hour-per-week positions. Occasionally, 20-hour/week positions may be available for second-year students. For a 10-hour/week position, the GTA works 10 hours/week during both the Fall and Spring semesters and receives a bi-monthly stipend and a tuition waiver for the Spring semester. For a 20-hour/week position, the GTA works 10 hours/week during both the Fall and Spring semesters and receives a bi-monthly stipend and a tuition waiver for both semesters. The Tuition waiver covers tuition and general university fees; it does not cover professional fees. GTA positions primarily support faculty research, faculty teaching, or the functions of the 网曝吃瓜 Speech and Language Clinics. Common teaching tasks include organizing materials, supporting instruction, grading, creating/organizing online course materials, and answering students' questions. Research-related projects may include eliciting, analyzing, interpreting, and organizing research data. Clinic-related tasks may include completing outreach opportunities, general office duties, supporting clinic-based technology, and developing/organizing materials.
• Career Path Internships (typically announced/available in the Fall) are hourly paid positions that are announced by individual faculty and involve SLP-related work in the area of clinic or research.
• Student work-study positions have flexible time commitments, depending on the position and availability. These are hourly paid positions that can include a variety of tasks that are directly or only indirectly related to the SLP profession and may include tasks such as clerical work and organizing teaching, research or clinic materials. 

Apply through the CSDCAS portal. You will be taken to an application link to answer several questions and to provide additional information. You will be asked to describe your personal attributes, skills, and experiences (research, volunteering, scholarship) that qualify you for one or more of these types of positions. There will be a 350-word limit for this response.

Idaho Public School District Letter of Support (For Idaho Public School Employees Only): 

网曝吃瓜 is a public institution committed to serving the needs of the state of Idaho. In support of the growing need for speech-language pathologists in Idaho's public schools, the program will give additional consideration to fully qualified applicants who are current employees of an Idaho public school district. To receive this consideration, applicants must submit a letter of support from a school district official — such as a Director of Special Education, principal, assistant principal, or similar role — with influence over hiring speech-language pathologists in that district.

This letter of support is not the same as a letter of recommendation; it is in addition to the three letters of recommendation that are required. It should be submitted on official school district letterhead, include the phone number and email address of the school official, and address the following:

• • That you are a current employee of an Idaho public school district
  • The capacity in which you work within the district
  • An indication of your performance in that role
  • Whether the district would be interested in hiring you as a speech-language pathologist after you complete your training, if a position is available

Having such a letter does not guarantee acceptance into the program, but it strengthens your application. The letter should be provided by the school official and uploaded to your CSDCAS application under documents. Letters will be verified during application review.

Letters should not be submitted by teachers, friends, or speech-language pathologists who do not hold an administrative leadership role in the school district.
