Access Disparities for Deaf Patients
Deaf patients have long reported sub-par experiences with communication in health care encounters and diminished access to care due to discrimination. Research resulting from a partnership between the 网曝吃瓜 Sign Language Interpreting Program, the Idaho Council for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, and the 网曝吃瓜 Department of Public Health has provided empirical support for the experiences reported by Deaf patients.
