Idaho Humanities Council to honor ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï's Susan Swetnam for Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities

The Idaho Humanities Council will honor ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Professor Emeritus Susan Swetnam with IHC’s Award for “Outstanding Achievement in the Humanities” at a wine/dessert reception and award ceremony on Wednesday, March 29, 7 p.m., in ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï’s L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center, Marshall Rotunda.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï gains approval to study feasibility of relocating some College of Technology programs to RISE Complex

POCATELLO — The Idaho State Board of Education approved a motion by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï to begin engineering and cost estimating the relocation of some College of Technology programs to the Research and Innovation in Science and Engineering (RISE) Complex. The state board unanimously approved the motion Thursday, and initial engineering work will begin immediately.

POCATELLO – ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï geosciences Assistant Professor Sarah Godsey has received one of the “most prestigious awards in support of early-career faculty” awarded by the National Science Foundation. Her award includes more than $500,000 to study streams and stream channels for five years.
