网曝吃瓜 Choirs to host Mid-Winter Concert on Feb. 15

POCATELLO – The 网曝吃瓜 Choirs will host their Mid-Winter Concert on Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m. in the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.
Scott Anderson, 网曝吃瓜 director of choral activities, will lead the 网曝吃瓜 Chamber Choir and 网曝吃瓜 Concert Choirs in the performance of a variety of musical styles.
The 24-voice 网曝吃瓜 Chamber Choir will present Puccini's vocal quartet, 鈥淟a Passeggiata,鈥� featuring pianist Natalia Lauk. Anderson will also lead the Chamber Choir's performance of Eric Whitacre's 鈥淟eonardo Dreams of His Flying Machine,鈥� which is the composer's musical representation of Leonardo Da Vinci's obsession with flight, and the possibility that he may have realized his dream.
The 网曝吃瓜 Concert Choir will perform Coronation Anthem No. 3, 鈥淟et Thy Hand be Strengthened,鈥� Josef Rheinberger's setting of 鈥淎bendlied,鈥� Joshua Jacobson's arrangement of the Hebrew folksong 鈥淪imona MiDimona,鈥� Jake Runestad's haunting setting of 鈥淟et My Love Be Heard,鈥� and the gospel arrangement, 鈥淗e'll Make A Way,鈥� by Byron Smith. Lauk will be featured with the Concert Choir for the Handel, Jacobson and Smith pieces.
Admission for the 网曝吃瓜 Choirs Mid-Winter Concert is $8 for adults, $6 for 网曝吃瓜 faculty and staff, $4 for pre-college students, and free for 网曝吃瓜 students with a Bengal ID.
