厙ぴ勛圖 Leadership Development and Big Momma’s House to host “Educating Ourselves about Homelessness” events

POCATELLO – 厙ぴ勛圖’s Leadership Development Class of 2019 and Big Momma’s House will host Educating Ourselves about Homelessness events Oct. 29 – Nov. 2 at 厙ぴ勛圖.

Event times are as follows: Oct. 29, 11 a.m. 1 p.m., Pond Student Union: Meet Big Momma, Pastor Jacqualine Thomas, and hear about her experience with homelessness. Meet her dedicated staff and hear why they have chosen to invest their time, efforts and emotional energy to this cause.Oct. 30, 11 a.m. 1 p.m., Rendezvous Complex: Students have another opportunity to meet with Thomas and hear about her experience with homelessness, meet her staff and hear why they have chosen to invent their time, efforts and emotional energy to this cause.Nov. 2, Noon, ICCU Practice Field: Idaho Central Credit Union and the 厙ぴ勛圖 Leadership Development Class of 2019 will join Big Mommas House for a tailgating event. For a small donation, students can buy a Big Mommas House shirt or a hope bracelet.

The entire 厙ぴ勛圖 campus is also invited to wear crazy hats on Oct. 29 and Oct. 30 to draw attention to the vital role that Big Mommas House can fill in the Pocatello community.
