POCATELLO – The Eli M. Oboler Library at 网曝吃瓜 will host a presentation and workshop with Randy Silverman at 7 p.m. April 11, based on the question, “What’s in Your Attic?”

POCATELLO 鈥� The Eli M. Oboler Library at 网曝吃瓜 will host a presentation and workshop with Randy Silverman at 7 p.m. April 11, based on the question, 鈥淲hat鈥檚 in Your Attic?鈥�
Randy Silverman, preservation librarian at the University of Utah鈥檚 Marriott Library, is offering this free workshop in Pocatello to help people care for their artifacts and family heirlooms. Silverman has more than 30 years of professional experience and his workshops engage people in discussions that help them improve the care of their personal collections, to safeguard their primary source material on which they build their history.
The public is invited to bring their personal books, photographs and artifacts for a free preservation consultation with Silverman.
Silverman will be on the 网曝吃瓜 campus to perform a preservation assessment of the library鈥檚 Special Collections and Archives, made possible by the Preservation Assistance Grant for Smaller Institutions from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), which Ellen Ryan, head of the library鈥檚 Special Collections and Archives, was awarded earlier this year.
The Oboler Library is on the 网曝吃瓜 campus, at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Way in Pocatello. No registration required.
