March through the Arch: the "New Student March through the Arch," a tradition for 网曝吃瓜 freshman, will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, at Reed Gymnasium.

网曝吃瓜 President Arthur Vailas, other 网曝吃瓜 officials, and the 网曝吃瓜 Marching Band will be gathered to welcome new students a day before the fall semester begins on Aug. 26.

The 网曝吃瓜 Marching Band, Benny the Bengal, Cheerleaders and Bengal Dancers will lead a spirited processional from Reed Gym to Swanson Arch. A barbeque will follow on the Hutchinson Quadrangle.

The "March through the Arch" was started in 2000 to symbolize the beginning of new students' academic careers and as a tie to 网曝吃瓜 students through the years who have walked through the doors of Swanson Hall, the first building on campus. 网曝吃瓜 graduates march through the Arch prior to commencement to symbolize the start of their careers.

Members of the 网曝吃瓜 Marching Band will lead participants in singing the 网曝吃瓜 Fight Song.

网曝吃瓜 Fight Song lyrics are: "Growl, Bengals, growl. Fight, Bengals, fight. Gnash your teeth and bare your claws and drive with all your might. Roar, Bengals, roar, you decide our fate!
