• ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï News Student March through the Arch: Begins at 5 p.m. at Reed Gym and finishes on the Hutchinson Quadrangle near the Swanson Arch. ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï President Arthur Vailas, other ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï officials, and the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Marching Band will be gathered to welcome new students a day before the fall semester begins on Aug. 27. • ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Fall Semester Begins

• Welcome Back Orange and Black Celebration: ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students will have a chance to win a car and other great prizes, plus enjoy free food, music and a variety of booths and entertainment during the third annual "Welcome Back Orange and Black" from 4 to 7 p.m. in Old Town Pocatello. The prize drawing will be held at 6 p.m. Buses will bring students downtown leaving from Eighth Avenue/Cesar Chavez Way at the bus stop in front of the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Student Health Center. The celebration will be held on Aug. 31 and it involves participation by national, regional, and online retailers representing more than 10,000 locations—all with the goal of increasing sales of collegiate merchandise.
