When ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï students want to be a part of the university conversation, they can turn to "ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Speaks," KÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï-FM's live, monthly news-talk program.
Host Benjamin Harker said he will lead a productive exchange of ideas and opinions on the issues that dominate the minds of the students and the university.
From breaking news, pressing issues, university entertainment and the arts, "ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Speaks" offers listeners the opportunity to join discussions with student decision-makers, academics and individuals involved at ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï.
For one hour at 7 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month, "ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Speaks" listeners can weigh-in, share their thoughts and ask questions by calling, e-mailing and messaging through social media.
As the primary route of advocacy for the students of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï, the Associated Students of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï (ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï) is committed to providing effective student participation and representation in all areas of student affairs, Harker said. ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï plays an integral role in promoting the improvement of educational programs, co-curricular activities, and services, to advance the common interests and concerns of the student body.
