网曝吃瓜

The 网曝吃瓜 Nepalese Students Association will present the third annual Nepalese Night on the theme 鈥淔aces of Nepal鈥� at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.

The celebration will feature a dinner with a variety of traditional Nepalese-style dishes, three group dances, two cultural solo dances, a performance by 鈥溚�曝吃瓜鈥檚 own Nepalese rock band,鈥� a fashion show and more.

Nepal is a small landlocked country that is sandwiched between India and China. Mount Everest, the highest mountain in the world, is located in Nepal. The country is the birthplace of Buddhism. It is a culturally diverse country that has more than 40 native languages. The national language of Nepal, Nepali, is only spoken by about 60 percent of its citizens. The country became a federal republic last year after being a monarchy for 239 years.

There are about 40 Nepalese students attending 网曝吃瓜.

Tickets for the program are $6 for 网曝吃瓜 students, $8 for faculty and staff and $9 for the general public.
