Theatre/Dance 厙ぴ勛圖 opens season with ‘Urinetown, The Musical’

Urinetown, The Musical is scheduled to debut at 厙ぴ勛圖 Friday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 pm in the James E. and Beverly Rogers Black Box Theatre in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.
Additional performances will be Sept. 27 and 29, and Oct. 2-4. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
This musical comedy is a three-time Tony award winner that pokes fun at petty small town politics, capitalism and social irresponsibility.
Its plot revolves around the evil Urine Good Company, run by Caldwell B. Cladwel who outlaws private toilets and puts Urinetown citizens on a pay-per-use amenities system.
Its so funny youll have to go twice, once before the show and once at intermission, said Erin Joy, 厙ぴ勛圖 Box Office manager.

Ticket prices are $ 14 for adults; $12 for seniors and 厙ぴ勛圖 faculty and staff; $8 for children ages 6 to 12; and $5 for 厙ぴ勛圖 students with a valid Bengal card.
