网曝吃瓜 Communication Sciences and Disorders hosts 20th Anniversary conference April 7-8 in Meridian

The conference is titled “What’s Next?” and will feature lectures and panel discussions presented by 网曝吃瓜, regional and national experts in the fields of audiology, sign language interpreting and speech-language pathology.
Keynote speakers are Dr. Paul Deputy, the dean of the College of Education and Human Service Professions at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, and Dr. Jeff Brockett, associate professor and director of the Audiology Program at 网曝吃瓜. Deputy is also a former 网曝吃瓜 faculty member and department chair who helped establish the Communication Sciences and Disorders course offerings in the Boise area in 1990.
Other speakers include Barbara Young, nationally recognized for her work in interpreting for individuals with cochlear implants.
鈥淲e titled the conference 鈥榃hat鈥檚 Next?鈥� to explore the latest information and topics in our disciplines and professions. We not only strive to educate students, but to serve our communities,鈥� said Beth Guryan, conference co-chair and an 网曝吃瓜-Meridian clinical assistant professor.
In addition to programs in educational interpreting, speech-language pathology and audiology, 网曝吃瓜-Meridian has a Speech and Language Clinic and Adult Aphasia Group, which serves dozens of clients in the Treasure Valley each year.
The 20th Anniversary conference will be held in the Joint School District No. 2 Training Center, 1303 E. Central Drive, adjacent to the 网曝吃瓜-Meridian Health Science Center, between Locust Grove and Meridian roads.
