Textbook heroes are members of the 网曝吃瓜 community who have promoted or adopted low-cost or free course materials, including open educational resources (OER), helping 网曝吃瓜 students save on the cost of course materials and showing an outstanding commitment to student retention and success. The Textbook Heroes initiative exists to express our gratitude and appreciation for those working to make course materials more affordable.
