ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Health Fair

The 2026 ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Health Fair will be Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 7 AM –  5 PM in the Pond Student Union Ballroom

MISSION: "Providing evidence-based health education and information, activities and demonstrations, and screenings to promote awareness of healthy lifestyle habits and disease prevention to empower people to live healthier lives."

The event showcases ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï's Kasiska Division of Health Sciences (KDHS) clinics. KDHS faculty and students typically offer free health screening services such as: 

  • Blood pressure, pulse, and height and weight assessment by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nursing faculty and students
  • Depression and anxiety screening by the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Psychology Clinic faculty and students
  • Fall risk screening by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy faculty and students
  • Foot assessment and care by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nursing faculty and students
  • Hearing screening by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Audiology faculty and students
  • Laboratory services provided by Portneuf Medical Center and ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï College of Technology Nursing faculty and students
  • Medication review and evaluation by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Pharmacy faculty and students
  • Oral health screening by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Dental Hygiene students
  • Traumatic brain injury screening by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Counseling Clinic faculty and students
  • Speech Language Pathology screenings
  • Food demos from ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nutrition and Dietetics 
  • Featuring the Teddy Bengal Clinic! Free build-your-own Bengals provided for the first 200 kids. Kids work with ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nursing students to give a stuffed animal a “routine checkup” from 3-5pm.

Food Demonstrations will be conducted throughout the day by ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Nutrition and Dietetic students.

Food Demo Schedule:

  • 9 AM - Energy bites
  • 10:30 AM - Smoothies
  • 12 PM- Salsa and chips
  • 1:30 PM - Protein dips and vegetables
  • 4:30 PM - After school snacks!

 

Visit 15 booths and 2 screenings or more to be entered into a drawing to win an exclusive stuffed Health Fair Bengal!
