The ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Alumni Association is thrilled to announce the distinguished recipients of the 2026 Alumni Awards! These exceptional honorees will be celebrated at the annual Alumni Awards Dinner on Friday, Oct 9, 2026, at the ICCU Bengal Alumni Center starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Alumni Awards Dinner is an opportunity for the entire Bengal community to come together, celebrate inspiring stories, and recognize the people who continue to strengthen ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï. We warmly invite the entire community to join us!

Nominations for Alumni Awards, recognized during the Alumni Recognition Dinner, are submitted in writing on the official Homecoming nomination form and shall include all personal data and information relevant to the candidate's qualifications. Nominations for all awards, excluding the President's Medallion, can be submitted by anyone and are due in the Office of Alumni Engagement no later than the end of May for awards given in the Fall of that same year. President's Medallion nominations are organized through the respective Dean's Office. 

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Distinguished Alumna/us:
Established in 1960 this award recognizes exemplary professional and personal contributions resulting in national or international recognition.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Achievement Award:
Established in 1984, this award recognizes personal actions, generosity and self-sacrifice on behalf of the University by a current faculty member or an emeritus faculty member.

ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï Distinguished Service Award:
Established in 2004, this award recognizes ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï staff members who have shown exceptional loyalty to the University through an extended period of employment.

William J. Bartz Award:
Established in 1976, this award recognizes continued support and development of ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï through personal actions, participation in University affairs and financial support regardless of alumni status.

Homecoming Parade Grand Marshal(s):
Established in 1984, this award recognizes faculty, staff or alumni who have made a significant impact in the ÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï community. This award is presented by the ASÍøÆØ³Ô¹Ï president.

Young Alumni Award:
Established in 2012, this award recognizes alumni who have graduated within the last ten years for exceptional achievement in career, public service and volunteerism that brings honor to the University.
